About the speaker

Sarah Laing, ATR

Registered Art Therapist, Galen Hope

Sarah Laing is a registered art therapist (ATR) who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Through a number of leadership roles in community, education, and healthcare settings, she has implemented dozens of art therapy programs. She is an Art Therapist at Galen Hope, for the Art Cares program at the Bass Museum of Art, with Arts4All Florida, and the Lowe Museum. Sarah is a practicing artist and is a member of the Red Thread Art Studio Miami. Sarah is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's Art Therapy program. Sarah is passionate about emotional learning and the arts. She believes creativity is everyone's birthright and can deeply support people in their healing.
